About the Royal Sovereign

Proper English pubs can be considered something of a dying breed, but The Royal Sovereign keeps tradition alive in the beautiful coastal town of Bexhill-on-Sea.

You’ll cross the threshold here to a warm welcome, wooden floors and, in colder months, an inviting open fire. There’s real ale on tap, courtesy of Britain’s oldest brewer Shepherd Neame, and traditional pub pursuits like dominoes, pool, darts and chess.

Sky Sports is one concession to modernity, making this the perfect place to catch the big games - and there’s a great beer garden at the back of the pub, ideal for post-match discussions over a pint.

Add in regular karaoke nights, charity events, a popular pub quiz and a super location right opposite the railway station, and it’s not hard to see why here in Bexhill, The Royal Sovereign rules.
